I have been developing websites for years, 10 to be exact. I co-founded a small firm called Argyll Studios a few years back and have been building some awesome WordPress based sites since. We recently launched our first online app, Hosted Notes. I also build eCommerce stores for Asheville based FastPivot.

Aside from that, I’m heavily involved with my church as a volunteer in the student area. I work with high school students by co-leading a small group of students interested in music. I’m heavily into music and just launched a new site for music reviews.. go check it out.

Early stuff includes me being born in Florida, moving to Kansas in 7th grade and then to Pennsylvania for college. After graduating college I married the girl of my dreams and have lived here ever since.

The site was developed from the ground up by me, but I did have a little help from some friends.

I started off with HTML 5 Boilerplate. Of course I’m using jQuery and a few plugins including, easing, rotate, hoverIntent and tooltip. The site is build on top of WordPress (the best dang CMS out there) and I’m using a customized version of my company‘s theme framework. The logo is designed by the great Kyle Ruane. Social media icons come from Design Kindle. Google fonts include Arvo and PT Sans. Hosting provided by Media Temple.
